Kari's Magic Parties is proud to team up with Jon Griffin of Nitty Griddy Productions to provide the finest in event photography and videography! Jon is available to come and take great pictures throughout your child's party (candid and posed) for the length of your performer for a flat rate, listed below. This flat rate includes 80-120 professional, magical photos taken throughout your party or event that can be emailed to you, or put on a CD and mailed to you at no extra cost, your choice. Having a professional photographer is a great way to capture all of the special moments of your party without having to stop and worry about taking the pictures yourself--you'll have someone there whose JOB is to seek out and capture those moments for you to post and share with others for years to come. Plus, he is very friendly and great with kids! :) Jon's rates are as follows, and include all of your pictures on CD:

  • 1 Hour:$40
  • 1.5 Hours:$50
  • 2 Hours:$60

If you're interested in having our photographer capture the special moments at YOUR special, just let Kari know at the time of booking!
Jon Griffin was born in Carson City, NV and raised in Lafayette, CA. He studied Film Production at San Francisco State University and freelances at a few SF ad agencies during the week, including Venables Bell and Partners and Swirl Integrated Marketing. He's also worked on television and internet spots for clients such as Audi and Intel (impressive!)--and of course, has tons of experience traveling with Kari every weekend as a children's and family party photographer.
Jon also has experience volunteering with the Richmond Children's Foundation, and also mixed his love for film with his fondness for children while shooting a documentary, where he directed creative activities with kindergartners and first graders aimed at developing critical thinking skills. He appreciates how when a child experiences something new, it can make it new for you as well.
In his free time Jon is passionate about painting, writing, photography, cinematography, and playing music, including drums, guitar, and the harmonica, which he keeps on him at all times, "just in case."
